Austin / Rover Alternators

Austin / Rover / BLMC were another car manufacturer who relied heavily on the Lucas brand of Auto Electrics Most models in the UK were fitted with the C40 Dynamo until the middle of the seventies.

The arrival of the ACR alternator saw most Austin's using this model of alternator. It was the most popular unit fitted in the UK between 1975 and 1980.

The 1980s saw the arrival of the Lucas A115 unit and once again Austin Followed suit

Modern day Austin / Rovers are fitted with Marelli / Bosch units.
