Alternator and Startermart trade along side our own garage and workshop based in Dukinfield Greater Manchester.

The Company originates back to the late 1970s under the name of Cubelm, when the automotive market was a very different place.

Our top selling items back in those days was a set of points and a condenser for the popular cars of the day, Mini, Escort Mk11 Cortina.

The above were sold wholesale across the UK by the thousands.

Along side the range was of course our Auto Electrical Units

It's hard to believe that back then around 10  / 20 units covered 85% of the British market. The Company continued to trade successfully through out the 1980s and even changed it's name in 1984.

Auto Logic T/A Auto Fax was born

Around the 1990s the company branched out into the retail sector having two motorist superstores across the area. As the market changed once again the garage arm was setup where still today a full range of servicing and MOT's are carried out daily.

Alternator and Startermart continue our links with the auto electrical side of the industry enabling us to supply a quality range of alternators and starter motors direct to your doorstep across the UK.
